To find out if your lock has a fly, take your unloaded gun and point it in a safe direction.First, @TrippyMcGuire556 should remove the nipples. Apply Kroil or a mix of acetone and automatic transmission fluid to penetrate the rust. Use a sturdy nipple wrench and tap the end while turning to loosen the nipple. Second, insert a zerk fitting on the nipple seat and use a grease gun to remove the slug.Then make a cutter along the design of a couple of saw teeth that fit the groove. This can cut the groove deeper and is advanced to the next groove. Then a paper shim is placed under the cutter and the process is repeated till the grooves are deepened to your goal.
