I used a TP-Link WiFi Extender to connect to wifi, and plugged the lan from extender to my wan of a pfsense travel router. The router, the Omada controller, a 24-port POE+ switch, and three EAP660HD APs, and one outdoor AP can all be had for under $1100. The cloudkey is just a unifi controller capable of unifi network and protect. The Ultra is ultra because it is both a gateway/router (Ubiquiti use gateway as another word for router) and a unifi controller however it only does network and not protect.I’m guessing it depends on how strong your connection speed is when remotely viewing. It should also be noted that in the app you can’t setup custom live camera views (you can in the browser, however). Lastly, the G4 Pro cameras seem pretty expensive to cameras of similar specs. Should really be at least $100 cheaper.Basically ubiquiti manual/support says that resetting the unit (amplifi hd) would revert it to "out of box" status, however they did sell some of these ubiquiti hd cubes with a teleport together. The Dream Machine Pro is good because its the whole Ubiquiti console (Firewall, Routing, Wifi, NVR) if you don't have a router.
