I've just managed to solo him in LFR as a 431 ret paladin, and the biggest reason it was even possible was Beacon to the Beyond trinket (LFR with 8/8 upgrade, ilvl 424) which crit for ~935K. You can easily avoid Kil'jaeden's annoying knockback with a toy! The method is handy if you're soloing the boss on Mythic difficulty! If you use Aspirant's Stretcher j ust before Kil'jaeden's is about to cast his knockback, it won't affect you.
